Dr. Volrich is a practicing licensed psychologist at ANC with an emphasis on pediatric neuropsychological, developmental, and psychoeducational evaluations. Dr. Volrich earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2020. Under the mentorship of prominent neuropsychologists Dr. John Mather and Dr. Paul Beljan, Dr. Volrich has received in-depth training in neuropsychological assessment. His collaboration with these experts has equipped him with a profound understanding of the neurological underpinnings of behavioral patterns such as those found with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Tourette’s Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, Intellectual Giftedness, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and other neurodivergent presentations.
From a young age, Dr. Volrich grappled with his own neurodiversity, facing his own set of learning and behavioral obstacles. These early experiences have served as catalysts toward his pursuit of pediatric neuropsychology. Drawing from his personal journey, Dr. Volrich believes in the exceptional nature of every child and is passionate about helping families recognize and celebrate their unique strengths. Dr. Volrich is dedicated to discovering and implementing the optimal supports that not only accommodate but truly amplify the remarkable capacities of these exceptional young minds.
At ANC, we host graduate-level practicum students, interns, and postdoctoral residents. Each of these qualified individuals receives direct clinical supervision from Dr. Volrich and/or Dr. Mather.
